Senior Public Health Engineer

One of our clients is recruiting for a Senior Public Health Engineer to join them in a 6 months contract.

This role would require you to operate via an Umbrella company.

They are hybrid working and can offer bases in London.

As the Senior Public Health Engineer, you will lead the technical assurance and review of Public Health Engineering designs across the Restoration and Renewal Programme. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary technical team to independently assess consultant-produced designs to ensure compliance with programme requirements, statutory obligations, applicable standards and heritage constraints. You will provide clear technical challenge, timely advice and practical recommendations within a fast-paced programme environment.

Skills and experience

• Degree in Public Health Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Experienced in Public Health building services design in the context of complex building projects.
• Sound knowledge of UK regulations, standards and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Sound engineering judgement and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Experienced and proficient in the use of digital delivery and coordination tools, including Aconex, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Ability to work proactively and effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary Programme environment.
• Experience of assuring designs produced by others (desirable)
