We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on Oracle development experience who enjoys solving problems and understanding how applications and databases work together.

  • Proven experience in Oracle database development using PL/SQL
  • Strong SQL skills and experience using tools such as SQL Developer, Toad or SQL*Plus
  • Experience writing complex and performance-focused SQL queries
  • Experience debugging and performance-tuning PL/SQL

  • Working knowledge of database partitioning and materialised views
  • Experience working within a production/support environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A good understanding of database best practices
  • Experience working within structured procedures and project lifecycles
  • A genuine interest in Oracle database development and understanding the wider applications you support

Salary/Benefits

Alongside a salary of £50,000 – £55,000, you’ll receive a strong benefits package, including:

  • Uncapped annual leave
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Private medical and dental care options
  • Profit-sharing bonus when company targets are achieved
  • Wellbeing support and colleague assistance programmes
  • Share Incentive Plan
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 5% employer matching
