The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager to join a growing, internationally focused facilities management and workplace services organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded bid professional to lead and manage high-profile tender opportunities across a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with solutions, commercial, operational and senior leadership teams, you will take ownership of the bid process from qualification through to submission, ensuring the delivery of compelling, client-focused proposals.

The role offers exposure to complex UK and international opportunities, a collaborative working environment, and the chance to play a key role in supporting the organisation's growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end production of tender submissions including PQQs, RFIs and RFPs.
  • Develop bid plans, win strategies and submission programmes.
  • Coordinate subject matter experts, operational teams, commercial stakeholders and senior leaders throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Analyse client requirements and translate them into compelling bid responses.
  • Write, edit and review high-quality proposal content that clearly articulates value propositions and differentiators.
  • Facilitate bid workshops, storyboarding sessions and review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, governance processes and submission deadlines.
  • Support presentation development and client-facing bid activities where required.
  • Maintain and develop bid content libraries, case studies and supporting materials.
  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement within the bid function.

About You

We are interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a Bid Manager, Senior Bid Writer or Proposal Manager role.
  • Experience managing complex and multi-disciplinary tender submissions.
  • Exceptional proposal writing, editing and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders across operational, commercial and technical functions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Facilities Management, Property Services, Workplace Services or Built Environment sector experience.
  • APMP accreditation.
  • Experience supporting large-scale outsourcing or integrated service contracts.
  • Adobe InDesign knowledge.
  • Exposure to international bids and multi-country service solutions.
  • Experience using AI-enabled bid tools and content platforms.

What's on Offer

  • Hybrid working model.
  • Opportunity to work on strategic and high-value opportunities.
  • International exposure and collaboration with global teams.
  • Supportive and collaborative culture.
  • Excellent career development prospects within a growing organisation.

If you are an experienced bid professional looking for your next challenge within a dynamic and forward-thinking business, we'd love to hear from you.
