Fire Stopping Operative (NVQ Qualified)

Location: London & Milton Keynes

Rate: £220 per day

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts:

• Days: 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Nights: 7:00pm - 3:00am (Overtime rate applicable)

Start Date: Within 2 weeks

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Fire Stopping Operatives on a range of commercial projects across London and Milton Keynes. Successful candidates will be working on fire protection and passive fire stopping installations to the highest industry standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Qualification in Fire Stopping or Passive Fire Protection.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified Fire Stopper.
• Proven experience installing a variety of fire stopping systems.
• Previous experience using Nullifire products.
• Experience using One Trace or Bolster software is preferred.
• Ability to accurately complete installation records and compliance documentation.
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts when required.
• Full UK work rights.

Duties

• Installation of passive fire protection and fire stopping systems.
• Sealing service penetrations and linear gaps.
• Installation of batt & mastic systems, fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps and associated fire stopping products.
• Completing installation records and photographic evidence.
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and project specifications.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
