Helpdesk Administrator

Duration: 4 Months
Rate: £14.42 PAYE / £18.69 Umbrella
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour unpaid break)

JML JobMatcha is currently recruiting for an experienced Helpdesk Administrator to join a busy estates maintenance contract on a 4-month assignment.

This is a fast-paced role that requires a highly organised individual who can manage a high volume of calls, emails, and maintenance requests while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all estates maintenance enquiries.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and requests in a polite, professional, and efficient manner.
• Log, track, and update support tickets and work orders using the CAFM system.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure they are assigned appropriately.
• Liaise with customers, clients, field technicians, engineers, and internal departments.
• Monitor progress of jobs and provide updates where required.
• Escalate complaints and urgent issues to Technical Supervisors, the Estates Maintenance Manager, and Engineers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all requests are processed promptly.

Requirements

• Previous Helpdesk Administration experience.
• Experience using a CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) system is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, high-volume environment.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
