Class 3H Building Control Surveyor – Fully Remote (Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Class 3H Building Control Surveyor to join a high-performing team delivering complex and high-risk projects. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexibility, strong rates, and the chance to work on impactful schemes.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting and overseeing compliance on Class 3H and Building Safety Regulator (BSR) projects, ensuring work meets current building regulations and safety standards. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing expert guidance across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and approve plans in line with Building Regulations for Class 3H projects
• Support Gateway submissions and BSR compliance processes
• Conduct remote plan checks and provide technical advice
• Work closely with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards

Requirements

• Registered Building Inspector (Class 3H) or equivalent competence
• Strong working knowledge of BSR processes and high-risk buildings
• Proven experience in building control on complex residential/mixed-use schemes
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Contract Details

• Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)
• Duration: 3-month rolling contract
• Hours: Part-time or Full-time options available
• Rate: Up to £85 per hour (Inside IR35)
