Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer | London / Hybrid | £90,000–£120,000 + Bonus

This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of applied AI, leveraging the latest advancements in large language models and agent-based systems in real-world production environments.

The Role

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-driven systems and features using state-of-the-art large language models
  • Develop end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion through to production deployment and monitoring
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex, real-world problems into scalable AI solutions
  • Contribute to the design of advanced architectures, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and multi-agent systems
  • Optimise system performance, reliability, and scalability in production environments
  • Play a key role in technical decision-making and overall AI strategy

Key Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in software engineering, machine learning, or AI-focused roles
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience building production-grade systems
  • Hands-on experience with large language models and modern ML frameworks
  • Experience deploying and maintaining systems in production (MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and scalable architectures
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with LLMs in production environments
  • Exposure to agent-based systems or advanced prompt engineering techniques
  • Experience building distributed systems or high-performance APIs
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
  • Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments
