Salary: £43,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card
We are working with a leading Repairs & Maintenance Contractor in the Social Housing sector to recruit a skilled Electrician to join a newly created Support Team.
The team has been established to provide additional support across several high-priority contracts throughout London and the South East. As part of this team, you will work across different contracts and locations, providing electrical maintenance and support where required.
This is a varied role suited to an experienced Electrician who is comfortable working across different environments and adapting to changing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance across residential and communal properties
- Provide electrical support across multiple contracts throughout London and the South East
- Respond to high-priority works and assist contracts where additional support is required
- Complete multiple jobs efficiently, safely and to a high standard
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out appropriate remedial works
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical, health & safety and compliance requirements
- Provide a professional and respectful service to residents and clients
- Accurately update job details using PDA/job scheduling systems
- Work flexibly across different locations and contracts as required
- Participate in a call-out rota
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- AM2
- 18th Edition
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Previous experience within social housing, repairs & maintenance or a similar environment is preferred
- Good knowledge of electrical regulations, health & safety and compliance
- Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance
- Comfortable working across multiple locations and adapting to different contracts
- Confident using PDA/job scheduling software
- £43,000 per year
