Document Controller - #2141745

Are you an experienced Document Controller with a background in CDE migrations, bulk records or scanning QA? A leading organisation is seeking a Document Controller to support the migration of priority operational records into a new Common Data Environment (CDE).

This is a remote-first contract with occasional travel to London.

The Role As the Document Controller, you’ll:

• Receive and register approved digital records and scanned documentation.
• Reconcile files against manifests, transfer schedules and the Artefact Register.
• Complete QA checks, identifying incomplete, corrupted, unreadable or duplicate files.
• Classify and upload individual files and bulk packages into the correct CDE locations.
• Maintain accurate metadata and version control throughout the migration.
• Record upload failures, exceptions and outstanding actions.
• Maintain an accurate migration control log.
• Coordinate with regional teams and external scanning suppliers where required.

You To be successful, you’ll bring:

• Previous document control experience within CDE or EDM migrations.
• Experience registering, classifying and reconciling bulk digital records.
• Strong knowledge of scanning QA, metadata checking and duplicate identification.
• Experience with bulk uploads, version control and migration tracking.
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to record management.
• Experience working with regional teams or external scanning suppliers would be advantageous.
