Quantity Surveyor – Nationwide Hotel Frameworks

Location: Nationwide – office, home and site based

Salary: Up to £65,000 + package

You will be involved from the first site visit through to final account. As every hotel and room style is different, you will assess what is needed, price the work, agree the contract value and manage the commercial side of each scheme through to completion.

The Role

Take commercial ownership of three to four work streams at the same time, covering hotel refresh and fit-out schemes nationwide valued up to £1m, with an average project value of £500,000–£700,000

• Manage variations, subcontractor accounts, and cost control
• Lead pre-start meetings and liaise directly with clients
• Deliver projects on time and within budget

Site visits are usually required once or twice every fortnight.

The Right Person

• HNC or above in Construction
• Strong Quantity Surveying experience within fit-out or framework projects
• Strong client-facing and commercial skills
• Proven experience managing three or four work streams at the same time
• Schedule of Rates (SOR) experience would be useful
