Construction Solicitor, NQ–2 PQE, London, £80,000–£90,000 (DOE) - Join a highly regarded Projects, Development & Construction team offering high-quality non-contentious work across major development, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Gemma Jones on or email with your CV – JOB REF: 215305336

THE ROLE:
Working within a highly regarded specialist construction practice, you will advise an impressive and diverse client base, including developers, property owners and investors, funders, contractors, public institutions, and leading construction consultants. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of major projects, taking on a varied and stimulating caseload from inception through to completion.

You will be involved in drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction, development, and project documentation, advising on procurement, contracting strategies, and providing commercially focused advice throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will span standard form contracts including JCT, NEC and EPC/EPCM, as well as bespoke agreements, development arrangements, due diligence, and joint ventures.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors at NQ–2 PQE with experience in a construction or housing practice, ideally with a strong background in non-contentious construction law. You will have experience with standard form construction contracts and exposure to commercial and/or housing development work.

Knowledge of JCT, NEC and EPC contracts, appointments, standard amendments, and market norms would be highly advantageous, alongside an interest in developing your experience of bespoke and complex agreements. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills are essential in this role, together with commercial awareness, attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

A genuine passion for construction law and a proactive approach to business development will be highly valued.

THE FIRM:
A leading UK and international law firm with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal advice. Its highly regarded Construction team advises on a diverse portfolio of high-value and complex projects across real estate, housing and accommodation, education, healthcare, hotels, infrastructure, sustainability, and renewables.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to market-leading work, develop specialist construction expertise and work alongside experienced lawyers and sophisticated clients within a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

THE PACKAGE:
In return, you can expect a highly competitive salary and an excellent benefits package, alongside a genuinely supportive and collaborative working environment. You will benefit from first-class training and development, hands-on exposure to high-value and market-leading projects, close support, and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility from an early stage.

With excellent scope to deepen your sector expertise, build strong client relationships and play an active role in business development, this is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate your career within a leading specialist Construction team.
