Key Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction and drive outcomes for high-visibility benefit programs with significant financial investment and multiple stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate benefit programs to ensure legal compliance, market competitiveness, alignment with the overall benefits philosophy, and the achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Develop long-term solutions with foresight to anticipate and address current and future issues in benefits.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in benefits plan administration, influencing without direct authority and providing mentorship to junior team members.
  • Drive the creation of new benefit programs, including all associated program management tasks such as business case development, budget management, and Vendor Security Audits.
  • Participate in a variety of benefits surveys and build internal competitive data to provide market-driven insights and strengthen existing programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory best practices and relevant government regulations.
  • Drive the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of company benefits programs, including time-off plans, retirement plans, healthcare and life insurance coverage, and wellness and health education, by integrating feedback and gaining alignment across the organization.
  • Drive the auditing and review of all benefits enrollments and processes to ensure accuracy and drive positive business outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of the overall benefits strategy, launching and iterating initiatives to achieve business outcomes, identifying needs, and integrating feedback from client organizations.
  • Develop compelling communication programs to ensure employees have a clear understanding of the company’s benefits and wellness offerings, thereby driving employee participation.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Payroll deductions
  • Expertise in Life insurance programs
  • Strong understanding of Absence coverage policies
  • Deep knowledge of Total rewards strategy
  • Proficiency with HR systems
  • Extensive experience in Benefits administration and management
  • Comprehensive understanding of Benefits practices and compliance guidelines
  • Knowledge of Health care benefits
  • Experience with Disability insurance programs
  • Proven HR Project management skills
  • Familiarity with Workers compensation processes
