Tax Assistant Manager | £65,000–£80,000 + bonus & benefits | Central London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Assistant Manager / Tax Senior to join a high-profile, FTSE-listed business in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified tax professional or someone with 1–2 years’ post-qualified experience looking to make the move from practice into an in-house environment.

You’ll join a small, high-performing tax team and work closely with an experienced Tax Manager and Head of Tax, giving you excellent exposure, responsibility and opportunities to develop your career.

The role will focus primarily on:

• Managing UK tax compliance across a portfolio of group and joint venture companies
• Tax reporting, forecasting and year-end / half-year reporting
• Managing relationships with HMRC and external advisers
• Supporting M&A and transaction activity, including tax due diligence
• Managing tax controls, risk processes and governance

About you:

• Newly qualified or up to 1–2 years PQE, ideally trained in practice
• Strong UK corporate tax knowledge
• Experience managing a portfolio of tax compliance
