Are you an experienced Apprenticeship Assessor with a track record of supporting learners from enrolment through to End Point Assessment (EPA)?
A well-established higher education institution is seeking an Apprenticeship Assessor to join its growing apprenticeship team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an assessor who enjoys working autonomously, managing a sizeable learner caseload and building strong relationships with apprentices, employers and stakeholders. The role will focus on conducting Tripartite Reviews, assessing learner progress and ensuring apprentices remain on track to successfully achieve their apprenticeship standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, supporting them through to successful End Point Assessment.
- Conduct regular Tripartite Reviews with apprentices and employers.
- Assess learner evidence and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner engagement, progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate records using e-portfolio systems and learner management platforms.
- Support compliance with apprenticeship funding rules, safeguarding requirements and quality standards.
- Build effective relationships with learners, employers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for audit, compliance and quality assurance purposes.
- A recognised assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, D32/D33, A1 or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting Level 5, Level 6 or Level 7 Management and Leadership apprenticeships.
- Experience assessing apprenticeships through to End Point Assessment.
- Experience conducting employer and learner reviews within apprenticeship programmes.
- Experience working with apprenticeship e-portfolio systems such as Aptem or similar.
- A strong understanding of apprenticeship compliance, learner progress monitoring and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a large and varied caseload.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive and professional approach to supporting learners and employers.
- Fully remote working arrangement other than one monthly in-person team meeting in London.
