Residential Property Solicitor - #2142517

Our client are a well-established and busy law firm based in East London with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor to join their expanding Property Department.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to deliver a high standard of client care while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New build properties
• Right to Buy matters
• Providing clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and related documentation.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the department.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Minimum 2 years' PQE in residential conveyancing (although candidates with more or less experience demonstrating the required skills will be considered).
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing procedures and property law.
• Excellent client care, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Experience using case management systems is desirable.
