Health & Safety Manager - #2143253

A market leading commercial fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support its continued growth across high-profile projects. With a turnover exceeding £300m and a proven track record of internal progression (over 22 promotions last year), this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking business.

The Role

This position offers a balanced mix of site based presence ("boots on the ground") and strategic oversight, including ISO compliance and auditing. You'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing a strong safety culture across multiple CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands on health & safety leadership across live sites
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Lead on ISO standards compliance and internal/external auditing
• Support project teams with practical H&S guidance and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in safety systems and procedures
• Deliver training and toolbox talks where required

About You

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within fit-out or construction environments
• Strong working knowledge of CAT A & CAT B commercial fit-out projects (desirable)
• Comfortable splitting time between site and office-based responsibilities
• Relevant qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
