Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bloomreach Consultant to support a significant website consolidation programme for a large UK healthcare organisation.

The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in implementing and configuring Bloomreach as a Headless CMS, enabling content delivery via APIs across multiple digital channels and user interfaces. This role will play a key part in consolidating multiple websites into a unified digital estate while establishing scalable content models, governance standards and publishing processes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile digital transformation programme within a complex and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement and optimise Bloomreach CMS as a headless content management platform.
  • Support the migration and consolidation of multiple websites and content repositories into a single digital ecosystem.
  • Design and implement content models, taxonomies, metadata structures and information architectures.
  • Establish and support content governance frameworks, publishing workflows and approval processes.
  • Provide expertise in API-driven content delivery, integration patterns and headless architecture best practices.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, content teams, product owners and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support agile ways of working through backlog refinement, sprint planning, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content management efficiency, scalability and user experience across the organisation's digital estate.

Essential Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience delivering solutions using Bloomreach CMS.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing and managing Headless CMS architectures.
  • Strong understanding of API-based content delivery and integration approaches.
  • Experience migrating content from multiple websites, digital estates or legacy CMS platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of content governance, publishing workflows and content lifecycle management.
  • Experience operating within agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting large-scale website transformation or consolidation initiatives.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working within healthcare, public sector or other highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of content migration tools and methodologies.
  • Understanding of search optimisation, content discovery and digital governance practices.
  • Experience defining enterprise-level content architecture and taxonomy strategies.
  • Exposure to complex digital transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholder groups.
