Senior Air Quality Consultant
Location: London – hybrid
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Aztrum is pleased to be working with a highly regarded, independent environmental consultancy in their search for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to take on more responsibility, work on a varied portfolio of projects and join a genuinely collaborative business.

Requirements

Candidates should ideally have:

• 3–6 years’ professional experience within Air Quality consultancy
• Experience completing air quality assessments for planning applications
• Knowledge of UK air quality legislation, guidance and planning policy
• Experience with air dispersion modelling, ideally using ADMS-Roads or similar software
• Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
• Full UK driving licence

Duties

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Preparing Air Quality Assessments for a wide range of development projects
• Undertaking dispersion modelling and interpreting modelling outputs
• Reviewing and analysing air quality monitoring data
• Preparing technical reports to support planning applications
• Providing air quality advice to clients and multidisciplinary project teams
• Liaising with local authorities and other stakeholders
• Managing projects from initial instruction through to completion
• Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, infrastructure and environmental projects
