Are you an experienced artwork professional with a background in packaging, print production and artwork project management? We're looking for an Artwork Manager to join a fast-paced EMEA product development team and lead the delivery of complex packaging artwork projects across multiple markets.

Please note: This is not a graphic design, creative design or content creation role. We are seeking someone with expertise in packaging artwork, print management, proofing and artwork delivery processes within an FMCG, manufacturing, packaging or regulated product environment.

The Opportunity

This 6-month fixed-term contract has been created to provide additional support during a period of increased project activity across the EMEA region. You'll play a key role in delivering secondary packaging artwork projects, managing artwork workflows from briefing through to print approval and production.

Working closely with project managers, regulatory teams, suppliers, printers and external agencies, you will ensure artwork is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex secondary packaging artwork projects across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Manage artwork projects from initial briefing through proofing, approval and release for print.
  • Review and approve artwork proofs, print specifications and colour standards.
  • Oversee die-lines and cutter guides to ensure packaging requirements are accurately represented.
  • Coordinate artwork activities with suppliers, printers, external agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, manage timelines and ensure successful delivery against launch plans.
  • Drive right-first-time artwork quality and print excellence.
  • Support packaging compliance, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain artwork processes, documentation and packaging data systems.

About You

You'll bring a strong technical understanding of packaging artwork and print production, alongside excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.

Essential Experience

  • Experience managing packaging artwork projects within FMCG, food & beverage, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or a related industry.
  • Previous experience approving die-lines & cutter guides for secondar packaging.
  • Strong knowledge of artwork approval processes, proofing, print production and colour management.
  • Experience working with printers, suppliers and external agencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Desirable

  • 5-8+ years' experience in packaging artwork, print management or artwork project delivery.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced international or multi-market environment.
  • Exposure to packaging compliance, sustainability or product commercialisation projects.

What's Important

This role would suit someone who enjoys coordinating complex artwork workflows, managing stakeholders and ensuring packaging is delivered accurately and efficiently.
