Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Enfield, North London
Pay: £120 per day
Contract: Full Time

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming school in Enfield, North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA or HLTA who is looking to take on greater responsibility within the classroom and make a real difference to pupils' learning and development.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils across the school with their learning and development

• Leading small group and intervention sessions

• Providing targeted 1:1 support where required

• Supporting teachers with planning, preparation and classroom activities

• Taking responsibility for lessons or activities when required

• Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment

• Working closely with teachers and the wider support team

• Helping pupils build confidence, independence and engagement with learning

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Confident leading small groups and learning activities

• Excellent communication and organisation skills

• A patient, supportive and proactive approach

• Experience working within a UK school setting

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply
