Structures Inspector - #2146300

Our client is a leading infrastructure services provider delivering highway maintenance and asset management services across Central London. They are looking to recruit a Structures Inspector to support the inspection and management of bridges and highway structures across a major London framework.

Based from Beckton, with access to a Central London office and hybrid working available following probation, this role offers a mix of site inspections and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out General and Principal Inspections of bridges and highway structures.
• Assess structural condition and identify defects and maintenance requirements.
• Produce detailed technical inspection reports.
• Support asset management and maintenance planning activities.
• Undertake inspections across Central London, including occasional night work.
• Provide support for emergency inspections and call-out duties when required.

Requirements:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience undertaking bridge or structures inspections.
• Strong report writing and analytical skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Candidates with wider structures experience, or less than three years' inspection experience, are encouraged to apply.
