Indirect Tax Accountant - #2146359

A well-known and respected consumer brand as an opportunity for an indirect tax accountant to join their tax team. The role looks after indirect tax (mostly VAT) where you'll have ownership across compliance, advisory work and risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and submit UK VAT returns and support with international indirect tax reporting and compliance obligations
• Support compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements
• Support the review of new business initiatives, contracts and projects to identify VAT implications.
• Assist with responses to HMRC enquiries, VAT audits and compliance reviews

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of preparing and reviewing UK VAT returns. It's a collaborative team, so there is also the potential to get involved with corporate tax as well.
