JOB DETAILS

THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Process Automation Consultant with experience designing, building and supporting workflow automation and integration solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong scripting, workflow and systems integration experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Working closely with customers, Pre-Sales, Project Management, and technical teams, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable solutions, validating solution designs, and ensuring successful delivery from implementation through to handover.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, configuring, and optimising workflow automation and document management solutions.
  • Leading solution testing, validation, and performance tuning activities.
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues across workflows, integrations, APIs, and document processing environments.
  • Delivering customer workshops to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Supporting Pre-Sales activities through solution design, technical validation, and project scoping.
  • Producing technical documentation, solution designs, and operational handover materials.
  • Contributing to standards, frameworks, and reusable components within the Process Automation team.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer processes through automation and integration.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with agreed timescales and quality standards.

A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing and supporting workflow automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Objectif Lune, Therefore, DocuWare, or similar document and workflow management technologies.
  • Knowledge of OCR and document capture technologies, ideally Ancora or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, APIs, microservices and automation frameworks.
  • Experience developing or customising solutions using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Ability to create scripts and automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and translating them into technical solution designs.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex workflow, integration and document management issues.
  • Experience producing solution documentation, technical specifications and handover materials.
  • Background in software implementation, consultancy, professional services, or technical delivery environments.

We value candidates with AI literacy - individuals who are curious about technology, comfortable exploring automation, and eager to contribute to a modern, forward-thinking business.
