A leading housing provider is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join their repairs team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will carry out responsive and planned maintenance works across London delivering high-quality repairs within occupied social housing properties.

The role will involve travelling between properties and sites; however, every effort will be made to allocate work as close to your home location as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Carpentry repairs including doors, frames, locks, kitchens, and general woodwork.
• Plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, pipework, and sanitaryware.
• Patch plastering, making good, and minor rendering repairs.
• Wall and floor tiling repairs.
• Painting and decorating works.
• UPVC window and door repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnosing maintenance issues.
• Completing reactive and planned maintenance works to a high standard.
• Using PDA/mobile devices to manage and complete repairs.
• Providing excellent customer service to residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience within Social Housing, Reactive Maintenance, or Property Services.
• Experience working within occupied residential properties.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic DBS Check.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
