Sellick Partnership is recruiting for an experienced Regional Programme Manager to lead a high‑profile cross‑sector programme supporting improvement, collaboration and strategic delivery across a defined region.

This role suits senior professionals with experience working across local government, central government and wider public bodies, particularly within programmes involving complex stakeholder environments, service transformation or multi‑agency delivery. You will act as a strategic lead, trusted adviser and regional coordinator, ensuring partners deliver impactful outcomes and long‑term public value.

Key responsibilities of the Regional Programme Manager includes:

  • Strategic engagement with senior leaders to strengthen collaboration and drive shared priorities.
  • Expert programme support - providing challenge, guidance and problem solving to help stakeholders progress delivery and navigate risks.
  • Performance oversight - maintaining a regional view of progress, identifying issues early and coordinating appropriate responses.
  • Capability and capacity assessment - identifying gaps and arranging specialist support where required.
  • Continuous improvement - analysing complex issues, sharing learning and contributing to programme development and future policy thinking.
  • Supporting alignment with wider initiatives and ensuring programme principles are embedded across partner organisations.
  • Contributing to broader strategic priorities such as service innovation, organisational development and long‑term planning.
  • Team leadership - managing regional support staff and ensuring consistent practice across the programme.
  • Cross‑regional collaboration - encouraging peer learning and contributing to shared guidance, resources and support materials.
  • Communications and engagement - supporting events, updates and stakeholder communications at regional and national levels.
  • Drafting reports and briefings for senior boards and key stakeholders.
  • Representing the programme and championing the interests of partner organisations.

The successful Regional Programme Manager will have:

  • Strong experience in programme delivery within a public‑sector or multi‑agency environment.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills with senior leaders.
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and brokering solutions.
  • Background in strategic programme work, transformation, collaboration or improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and risk‑management capability.
  • A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence representing programme interests at senior levels.

If you're a strategic, collaborative and confident public‑sector professional who can drive cross‑organisational delivery and influence senior stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply by the 25th of September.
