Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Location: South London (hybrid, 3 days in the office)
Salary: Up to £50,000 basic + uncapped commission scheme

At Rockpool, we are thrilled to be working with a prestigious global corporate travel company that has been looking after business travellers for more than 30 years.

This is a business on the move. Their London team is growing fast, and they now need a Sales Executive / Business Development Manager focused purely on professional services clients.

You do not need to have worked in travel. What matters most is your attitude, your drive and a proven track record of winning B2B business. If you have spent a year or so in corporate travel, that would be a real bonus.

What you will be doing:

• Finding and winning new professional services clients
• Building your own pipeline through LinkedIn, networking, events and referrals
• Getting to know what each firm needs from its travel and putting together tailored proposals
• Showing clients a service that puts the traveller experience first, backed by technology built around them
• Working to new business targets, with the freedom to do it your way

What we are looking for:

• A strong B2B sales or business development background, with new business wins to show for it
• Confidence prospecting and building relationships on LinkedIn
• A polished, professional manner with senior decision makers
• Self-motivated and happy to run your own pipeline
• Corporate travel or TMC experience is a bonus, but not essential

What else do I need to know ?

The earning potential is excellent. On top of a basic salary of up to £50,000, commission is uncapped, so the more business you bring in, the more you earn. You will not be micromanaged, and it is a brilliant time to join. You will be based in their South London office 3 days a week and 2 from home. It's a grown up, trusting environment where successfull people really flourish.
