The Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilledHealth and Social Care Lecturer with T Level Experience to join our Health Care and Science department at Hammersmith Campus.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across T Level Health and Social Care programmes, supporting learners to achieve their full potential and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for progression into employment, higher education or further study.
The role involves classroom and workshop-based delivery, learner support, assessment, industry engagement and contribution to curriculum development, ensuring provision remains industry-relevant and aligned with T Level and awarding body requirements.
The successful candidate must have relevant teaching experience and demonstrable experience of delivering T Level Health and Social Care. You will have up-to-date vocational knowledge and the ability to effectively prepare learners for the academic, occupational and industry placement elements of the T Level programme.
The ideal candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching, learning and assessment across T Level Health and Social Care programmes.
- Have relevant teaching experience and proven experience of delivering T Level Health and Social Care.
- Prepare high-quality teaching materials and schemes of work in line with College, T Level and awarding body requirements.
- Support learners as a Personal Tutor, monitoring attendance, progress, behaviour and achievement and providing appropriate academic and pastoral support.
- Support the delivery and assessment of industry placements, working with employers to ensure learners gain meaningful and relevant industry experience.
- Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, course review and continuous improvement.
- Promote high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Maintain up-to-date Health and Social Care vocational knowledge and ensure teaching reflects current industry practice.
