Help shape how regulatory risk is understood and managed across EMEA. Joining a collaborative team, you will play a key role across the team's core activities, including managing and advising on employee licencing (SMCR) and entity licensing, employee conflicts (G&E, OBAs), regulatory engagement, regulatory reporting, Board and management reporting, and regional Compliance policy governance, while identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation.

What role will you play?

As a member of the EMEA Regulatory Risk team, you will contribute to the delivery of key regulatory risk activities across the region, working collaboratively with colleagues in business aligned compliance teams and other key stakeholders both in region and in Sydney, to provide support across areas including senior managers and certification regimes, entity licensing and policy management. Reporting to a senior member of the EMEA Regulatory Risk team, you will help deliver high-quality, risk-based outcomes that strengthen compliance and support the business in meeting its regulatory obligations effectively.

What you offer

  • Experience working within a regulatory risk, compliance or related function, with exposure to Senior Managers and Certification regime.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with curiosity and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement
  • The ability to build effective relationships, communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across a range of levels and backgrounds
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality, risk-based outcome
  • A desire to drive efficiencies and innovation in execution of core tasks
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, Markets in Financial Instruments Directive, Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, General Data Protection Regulation or Market Abuse Regulation is desirable
