Join us as a Lead Product Owner

  • Use product, data, analytics, and technology to build capabilities that deliver better customer outcomes and prevent economic crime
  • Set the vision, strategy, and integrated roadmap for economic crime analytics products and platforms aligned to customer outcomes, regulatory commitments, and strategic priorities
  • You'll be part of an environment that is passionate about your growth, fosters inclusion, and champions your potential for shared success
What you'll do
As the Lead Product Owner, you'll set the product direction for our Economic Crime analytics capabilities. You'll bring customer, colleague, and business needs to form a clear vision and prioritised roadmap for the bank. Moreover, you'll lead a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts, creating the focus, decision-making, and ways-of-working needed to turn complex problems into measurable outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a product function of Product Owners and Business Analysts, driving clear ownership and consistent standards
  • Owning end-to-end product outcomes, ensuring the implementation of proposed solutions and measuring the delivered impact
  • Shaping investment choices and sequencing across run and change, making clear trade-offs between customer value, fraud-loss prevention, risk, technical debt, cost, capacity and dependencies
  • Working across teams to align product strategy and delivery, building scalable and sustainable capabilities
The skills you'll need
We're looking for a strategic, outcome-focused product leader with experience in leading complex products, platforms, or portfolios in an agile environment. You'll be comfortable setting direction and establish clarity across organisational boundaries. Moreover, you'll hold teams accountable for measurable value, combining strong commercial judgement with excellent communication and people leadership skills.
In addition, we'll expect you to have:
  • Strong knowledge of fraud and financial crime risk, as well as the technology needed to mitigate threats in a financial industry context
  • Experience in translating complex business problems into clear product strategies, roadmaps, outcomes, and prioritised backlogs
  • Strong understanding of data, analytics, technology, and AI-enabled products
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively
