Meraki Talent are working with an insurance company looking for an experienced HR BP to join their team on a 12mFTC with a strong focus on chance, transformation and organisational development.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver people-focused change initiatives, support organisational strategy and ensure colleagues are engaged throughout periods of transformation.


HR BPResponsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver people and organisational strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Lead and support change and transformation programmes, from planning through to implementation.
• Provide HR expertise across restructures, organisation design and workforce planning.
• Support formal consultation processes and redundancy programmes, working closely with the ER team.
• Coach and advise leaders on people-related matters, helping them navigate change and challenging situations effectively.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted and commercially focused HR partner.
• Develop and implement people solutions that support business performance and organisational effectiveness.
• Work closely with leaders to identify engagement challenges and develop initiatives to improve colleague engagement and experience.
• Communicate change effectively, ensuring colleagues are informed, supported and engaged throughout transformation programmes.
• Use data, insight and employee feedback to influence decision-making and shape people strategies.
• Work collaboratively with HR colleagues across ER, Talent, Reward, L&D and HR Operations to deliver joined-up solutions.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner, preferably within Insurance, if not Financial Services.
• Strong experience across change and transformation, including restructures and organisation design.
• Experience supporting consultation and redundancy programmes, with a good understanding of employment relations.
• The ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable getting into the detail and delivering hands-on.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge senior leaders.
• Strong coaching and influencing skills.
• Experience driving colleague engagement and supporting organisations through periods of significant change.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility quickly across all levels of an organisation.
