Assistant Project Manager
Location: London - Hybrid
Contract: 6 months initially
Rate: £375.56 Umbrella per day

We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of major transport infrastructure and technology projects.

The role will support projects including the decommissioning of legacy control centre infrastructure and the upgrade of passenger information systems, CCTV and public address systems.

• Support project delivery, planning and scheduling.
• Manage risks, issues, changes and project reporting.
• Support budget, governance and document control activities.
• Identify emerging issues and escalate where required.
• Deputise for the Project Manager when necessary.

• Experience supporting project delivery, ideally within transport or infrastructure.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with project controls, risk, planning and reporting.
• Able to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• APM or PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.
• Previous TfL experience would be advantageous.
