Non - Functional & Performance Testing Consultant

London - Hybrid - 2 days a week

6-month initial contract

Up to £700 per day

I am currently working with a retail business who require a Non-Functional and Performance Testing Consultant to define and embed an enterprise strategy across it's technology function.

You will set standards, provide practical guidance and give teams the tools to deliver secure, scalable and reliable products.

Key responsibilities:

• Set the operating model, policies and technical standards for performance and non-functional testing
• Advise delivery teams and decision-makers on priorities, trade-offs and risks
• Embed performance, capacity, resilience, security, availability and recovery into delivery
• Own the tools, environments and frameworks used for non-functional testing
• Work with Engineering, Architecture, Product, DevOps, Cloud Operations and Delivery
• Define metrics and reporting to track risk and improvement
• Improve testing through automation, new techniques and production insights
