We're partnering with a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy to appoint an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing building services team.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants more than simply producing designs. You'll have genuine responsibility for projects, regular client exposure and the opportunity to mentor junior engineers - while working alongside experienced technical and project leaders.

The opportunity

You'll be involved in a diverse range of building services projects, taking responsibility for the electrical engineering element from early-stage design through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering electrical designs across a range of building projects.
• Taking ownership of electrical engineering packages.
• Producing and reviewing calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
• Coordinating designs with other engineering disciplines.
• Attending client, design and site meetings.
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Supporting project managers and senior engineers with project delivery.
• Ensuring designs meet relevant UK standards, regulations and project requirements.
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.
• Supporting fee proposals, tenders and business development where appropriate.

What they're looking for

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience within electrical building services engineering.
• Strong UK consultancy, property or construction experience.
• Experience delivering electrical designs on building projects.
• Good knowledge of relevant UK standards and regulations.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Some experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
• The ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of projects.
• UK project experience and full right to work in the UK.

Chartered status, or actively working towards Chartership, would be advantageous.
