Day Rate: £300-£350/day Inside IR35

Duration: 6 Months

Clearance: BPSS, SC Eligible

Location: London preferred, Bristol or Manchester considered.

Overview

This role sits within a newly formed Talent Intelligence and Workforce Insights function and focuses on transforming recruitment and workforce data into meaningful business intelligence. The successful candidate will move beyond traditional management information reporting, identifying trends, uncovering root causes and influencing hiring and workforce planning decisions across DSIT. The team is looking for someone who can tell stories with data, build compelling dashboards and drive practical change from insights.

Hiring Manager Insight

The strongest message from the hiring managers is that this is not an MI reporting position.

They want somebody who can explain what sits behind the data, challenge existing approaches and recommend practical actions. Candidates should demonstrate how insights led to measurable recruitment, workforce planning or organisational improvements.

Role Summary

• Lead talent intelligence and workforce insights activity
• Analyse recruitment and workforce datasets
• Create dashboards and insight products
• Support workforce planning decisions
• Influence recruitment strategy through evidence-based recommendations

Key Responsibilities

• Identify recruitment trends and performance patterns
• Analyse hiring funnels and campaign effectiveness
• Build dashboards and visualisations
• Support Greenhouse ATS adoption and optimisation
• Present findings to stakeholders up to Director level
• Develop recommendations that improve recruitment outcomes

Technology & Data Environment

• Greenhouse ATS experience desirable
• LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights beneficial
• Knowledge of SQL data modelling advantageous
• Interest in AI-enabled recruitment improvement
• Experience combining multiple data sources
