Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Market Data Commercial Manager to join their Market Data Strategy team in London on a 6-month contract. In this key position, you will govern, optimise and strategically manage major vendor relationships across market data, reference data, indices and benchmark providers. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Governance & Negotiation: Drive high-stakes vendor negotiations and commercial evaluations alongside major index and market data suppliers

• Cost Optimisation & Budget Management: Implement cost-reduction initiatives, oversee multi-million-pound spending and secure sustainable commercial savings

• Contract & Licensing Management: Oversee licensing audits, contractual terms and supplier delivery to maintain compliance and strategic alignment

• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Trading, Investments, Technology, Legal, Finance and Compliance

• Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that vendor arrangements align with benchmark regulation and UK/EU legal frameworks

What We Are Looking For:

• A background managing market data, procurement or commercial vendor relationships within investment banking, asset management or major data providers

• Demonstrated background delivering large-scale licensing deals covering reference data, indices and financial market products

• Strong capability in financial forecasting, budget administration and delivering systematic cost savings

• Outstanding interpersonal capabilities, analytical mindset and a highly collaborative approach to negotiation
