Reservations & Customer Service Executive - #2148770

We are working with an escorted tours and river cruising tour operator who create memorable travel experiences for customers across a fantastic range of destinations.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, has a passion for travel and is motivated by both excellent service and achieving sales results.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, managing sales and customer service enquiries, convert opportunities into bookings, process amendments and payments, and ensure customers receive everything they need before travelling.

A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to upsell relevant upgrades and additional services, while always ensuring the customer receives a personalised and positive experience. Fully remote working available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
• Handle sales and customer service enquiries across telephone, email, webchat and social media
• Follow up enquiries proactively and maximise opportunities to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Accurately process new bookings and amendments, ensuring correct prices, codes and customer information are recorded.
• Identify appropriate upselling opportunities, including upgrades and additional holiday extras.
• Assist customers with payments, airline ancillaries and other aspects of their holiday arrangements.
• Keep customers informed of any changes or updates relating to their holiday.
• Process brochure requests and respond to general customer queries.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous experience within the travel industry
• A professional, friendly and customer-centric approach.
• The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Confidence dealing with difficult situations and resolving customer concerns professionally.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive approach to sales and upselling.

THE PACKAGE:

• £26,000 - £28,000 (Depending on experience) + Commission opportunity
• London based or Fully remote working in the UK available
• Working shifts 5-day per week, Monday - Sunday, including one weekend day
• Predominantly 9:00am-5:30pm shifts, with occasional later shifts (10am-6.30pm and 11am-7.30pm_
