London | £30,000 – £40,000 + Bonus | Hybrid Working

An established and growing financial services business in London is looking to recruit an experienced Mortgage Adviser to join its client-focused team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CeMAP-qualified adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships rather than simply dealing with one-off transactions. You will advise across a broad range of mortgage and protection needs while developing a loyal book of repeat clients and introducers.

The business offers a supportive, professional environment, hybrid working and the opportunity to play an important role in its continued growth.

The Role

Working with both new and existing clients, you will provide clear, compliant mortgage and protection advice while managing cases through from initial enquiry to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and speaking with clients to understand their mortgage, borrowing and protection requirements
  • Researching the market and sourcing appropriate mortgage solutions
  • Providing clear and concise advice across mortgages and associated protection products
  • Supporting clients with applications and relevant documentation
  • Submitting mortgage applications to lenders and overseeing cases through to completion
  • Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other third parties
  • Keeping clients informed throughout the application process
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant client records
  • Building strong relationships with clients and professional introducers
  • Developing a book of loyal repeat clients and generating referrals
  • Keeping up to date with developments across the mortgage and protection markets

The underlying job specification places particular emphasis on advisers taking ownership of their cases, maintaining compliance and CRM records, and building a book of repeat clients and introducers.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • CeMAP or an equivalent mortgage qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience within the mortgage market, ideally with experience working as a Mortgage Adviser
  • Experience advising on relevant protection products
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • A proactive approach to managing cases and keeping clients updated
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience with mortgage sourcing and CRM systems; knowledge of Twenty7Tec and 360 would be advantageous

An Equity Release qualification would be beneficial. Candidates without this qualification should be prepared to obtain it within 12 months of joining.

Package

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience

Bonus: Validation-based bonus structure

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Location: Central London

The wider package also includes holiday allowance, pension, Death in Service and opportunities for continued professional development and career progression.

This would suit an experienced Mortgage Adviser looking to join a growing business where they can develop lasting client relationships, take ownership of their cases and build a valuable long-term client bank.
