IT Support Consultant (EUC)

• Location: London
• Job Type: Contract (3 months initially)
• Daily Rate: £450

We are seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our Shared Technology Services team. This role involves the administration, support, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement of various EUC services, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for users across multiple organisations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide BAU support and administration for End User Computing services including Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Remote Desktop Service, RemoteApp, and Palo Alto GlobalProtect remote access solutions.
• Manage incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams to deliver secure, resilient, and user-focused IT services.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, organisational policies, and industry best practices.
• Support change management processes, including CAB submissions, testing, and implementation activities.
• Participate in project delivery, service improvement initiatives, and technology refresh programmes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11, including troubleshooting and configuration.
• Proficient in managing Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN solutions and Microsoft Intune.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and endpoint compliance.
• Skilled in Intune application deployment and software packaging.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with remote desktop technologies including AVD, Windows 365, RDS, and RemoteApp.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Prisma Access and supporting F5, DirectAccess, Always-On VPN, or Zscaler.
• Previous work within Local Government or Public Sector environments.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, and security best practices.
