A leading global technology and digital media business is seeking a Global Payments Technology Audit Leader to join its Internal Audit team. This is a highly visible role responsible for shaping and delivering the technology audit strategy across payments, lending and regulated financial products throughout EMEA and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology audits across payments, fintech and lending products.
• Develop and execute risk-based audit plans and strategies.
• Act as the primary audit contact for payment regulators and supervisory authorities.
• Assess technology, security and operational risks across payment platforms and digital wallets.
• Review payment architecture, controls, processing, security and third-party integrations.
• Provide practical, risk-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit quality, methodology and standards.

Person Specification

• 5+ years' experience in Technology Audit, IT Audit, Payments Risk, FinTech Audit or Compliance.
• Experience working within payments organisations, fintech businesses, regulated financial institutions, consulting firms or regulatory bodies.
• Strong understanding of payment technologies, regulations and control frameworks.
• Experience leading complex audits independently and engaging with regulators.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience auditing global payment, lending or financial services products.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, PSD2, SCA, Open Banking and Operational Resilience.
• Exposure to SQL, Python or data analytics.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CAMS or CIA.
• Background within a large-scale technology, digital platform, social media or e-commerce organisation.
