HSE Manager - London/South East - #2149782

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor HSE arrangements across a regional portfolio of sites and projects.

  
  
  

• Provide advice on UK HSE legislation, CDM 2015 where applicable, risk assessments, RAMS and safe systems of work.

  
  
  

• Undertake site visits, inspections and audits, following up on findings and improvement actions.

  
  
  

• Support incident reporting, investigations and root-cause analysis, ensuring lessons learned are shared.

  
  
  

• Work with contractors and subcontractors to monitor performance and maintain appropriate HSE standards.

  
  
  

• Support project teams through construction and other relevant delivery phases, helping identify and control risks.

  
  
  

• Monitor HSE data, prepare performance updates and identify areas requiring further attention.

  
  
  

• Promote engagement, effective communication and continuous improvement across the region.

  
  
  

Experience and qualifications

• Relevant HSE experience within renewable energy, power, construction, civil engineering, utilities or a comparable sector.

  
  
  

• Experience working across multiple sites or projects.

  
  
  

• Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, construction risks and contractor controls.

  
  
  

• Practical experience with inspections, audits, incident investigations and HSE management systems.

  
  
  

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.

  
  
  

• IOSH membership

  
  
  

• Confident stakeholder-management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both site-based and senior teams.

  
  
  

Salary and benefits

• £65,000-£75,000 annual salary
