About the Role

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Business Analysts to support a high-profile transformation programme within a large and complex organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across significant business, technology and people transformation, engaging with senior stakeholders across public and private sector environments.

You will play a key role in understanding business needs, analysing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the design of solutions aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and build effective working relationships.

Work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Understand and document how products and services are delivered.

Select and apply appropriate business analysis and modelling techniques.

Elicit, analyse and validate business and user requirements.

Create business models, process maps, system models, data models and supporting documentation.

Analyse existing processes to identify problems, opportunities and root causes.

Design, prioritise and facilitate business process improvements.

Develop problem statements and evaluate potential solution options.

Assess solutions based on feasibility, benefits, risks and impacts.

Define and manage epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements.

Maintain requirements traceability.

Facilitate prioritisation of business and user needs.

Identify gaps in system functionality and user experience.

Develop business scenarios and acceptance criteria to support testing and validation.

Review prototypes, test plans and test outcomes.

Communicate findings clearly to support informed decision-making.

Adapt BA approaches and deliverables according to the delivery methodology.

Contribute to the wider Business Analysis community through knowledge sharing, best practice and mentoring.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Business Analyst within complex transformation environments.
• Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong experience in business process mapping, analysis and improvement.
• Experience supporting structural and organisational change.
• Experience across technology and people-focused transformation.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders across public and private sector environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and management skills.
• Experience producing business models, process maps, requirements documentation and BA artefacts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience identifying problems, analysing root causes and developing solution options.
• Experience defining acceptance criteria and supporting testing and validation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A recognised Business Analysis qualification.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within highly regulated, complex or security-sensitive environments.
• Experience delivering major organisational transformation programmes.
• Experience working across Agile and other delivery methodologies.
• Experience contributing to BA communities of practice or mentoring other Business Analysts.
• Experience working with UX, service design or user research teams.
