Applied AI Engineer - #2150687

We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join a growing AI organisation and work closely with the research and engineering teams to build high-quality, production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and build solutions using LLMs, RAG and related AI technologies
• Develop and maintain high-quality production software
• Architect and maintain microservice-based systems
• Take ownership of technical problems from concept through to production
• Work closely with research and engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Provide technical guidance and support to more junior engineers

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience building LLM-driven systems, including RAG
• Commercial Python development experience
• Strong understanding of clean, maintainable and well-tested software
• Fluency with agentic tooling
• Excellent technical communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree from a leading or internationally recognised university
• A strong product mindset and focus on delivering user value
• A self-starting, creative approach to problem solving

Desirable Experience:

• Deep learning and traditional machine learning
• LLM fine-tuning
• Microservice architecture
• Modern LLM tooling and evaluation approaches

Further Information: 
The role is paying up to £140,000pa + bonus and is based in London with Hybrid working on offer. This role is not providing sponsorship.
