Salary £55,000 - £70,000 Depending on skills and experience

Qualification Requirement: Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning

About Us

• We are an established, high-quality Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) based in the City of London. Their established advisory team is comprised of 16 highly experienced financial planners.
• For future growth they have their academy for new advisers. Their current cohort includes 5 new members at different stages of their career path, from being new paraplanners through to competent adviser. Their academy members are all experienced, high-calibre paraplanners already meeting high standards for technical advice quality.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled T&C Coach to support their growth. You will work directly alongside their SMF16 and SMF17 Directors and collaborate closely with their Head of Technical Research team.

You will be using systems to monitor aspects of business quality of individual advisers, but this is not a data heavy or paper-based compliance role. The Head of Paraplanning handles routine file checks, and their directors manage SMCR and annual Fit & Proper reviews. This frees you up to use your skills to assess the ongoing competence of experienced advisers, and to develop and assess new advisers’ skills.

We are Looking For

• The Basics: You must hold a minimum of a CII Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent) and have solid experience working within an UK IFA T&C framework.
• The Coach Mentality: You know how to help elite paraplanners bridge the gap to become confident, client-facing advisers. You focus on soft skills, client relationship building, and presentation.
• The Diplomat: You possess the emotional intelligence and industry credibility to engage with veteran advisers with many years of experience, acting as a supportive peer rather than a rigid auditor.
