We are currently recruiting experienced Electricians on behalf of our client, working across a range of high-profile commercial and residential projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, professional electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys working in occupied buildings and client-facing environments.

The Role

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and fault-finding on a variety of electrical systems, including:

• Wiring and containment
• Lighting and small power
• Fault-finding on existing electrical systems
• Installation of new electrical systems
• Electrical maintenance
• Site surveys and assessments
• Working to customer requirements and industry standards
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety requirements

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems in accordance with BS7671 / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Carry out site surveys independently or alongside clients to establish requirements
• Provide accurate survey information to Contracts Managers
• Provide professional technical assessments to Contracts Managers and clients
• Demonstrate working knowledge of lighting control systems, including DALI and Exor
• Apply knowledge of IEE regulations and electrical inspection and testing
• Work in accordance with NICEIC requirements
• Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship
• Help deliver excellent customer service and support repeat business

Essential Requirements

• BS7671 / 18th Edition City & Guilds
• Electrical apprenticeship
• Experience in electrical installations
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a small team
• Proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workload
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively under pressure

Desirable Qualifications

• C&G 2391 Inspection, Testing & Certification
• CSCS Card
• Experience with DALI / lighting control systems
• Familiarity with NICEIC requirements
