Project Manager – Commercial Office Fit-Out

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful management and control of commercial office fit-out projects across London.

This is a project and client-facing position, with a strong focus on programme control, stakeholder management, reporting and ensuring projects are delivered against agreed objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for managing commercial office fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Develop, manage and control project programmes.
• Lead client, consultant and stakeholder meetings.
• Coordinate the wider project team and ensure actions are driven through to completion.
• Monitor project progress, costs, risks and key deliverables.
• Manage project reporting and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager and site team to ensure the programme is being delivered.
• Manage changes, variations and project issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality.
• Drive successful completion, handover and close-out.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial office fit-out projects.
• Strong CAT A / CAT B experience.
• Excellent programme and project control skills.
• Strong client and stakeholder management experience.
• Confident running project meetings and presenting project updates.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts and commercial management.
• Relevant construction qualification desirable.
• London commercial fit-out experience highly desirable.
