Corporate Tax Director - #2151718

Our client, a well-established UK professional services firm, is looking for a Corporate Tax Director to take on a key leadership role within their Corporate Tax practice in London, with a clearly defined pathway to Partner attached.

This is a firm recognised externally for the quality of its employer offering, holding Gold accreditation from Investors in People and a place on a national list of top UK employers. For a Director-level hire weighing up long-term fit as much as immediate remit, that kind of independent validation tends to matter, particularly at a firm that's also been steadily climbing the industry rankings.

This is a predominantly advisory-led role, focused on leading complex corporate tax projects across a broad client base, ranging from owner-managed businesses through to large corporates and international groups. You'll act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, building long-term relationships and shaping commercially focused tax solutions rather than just compliance work.

You'll take ownership of significant projects end to end, managing scope, risk, budgets and delivery. Business development sits alongside this: networking, client engagement, and identifying new advisory opportunities as the practice grows. You'll also play a part in shaping the wider strategy of the Corporate Tax service line and lead and mentor your team.

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), currently operating as a Director or an experienced Senior Manager ready to step up
• Strong advisory experience, with the confidence to lead complex projects and senior client relationships
• A commercially minded approach, with a genuine track record in business development
• Clear ambition to progress to Partner, backed by strong leadership and people skills
