Corporate Finance Director (M&A) - #2151722

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Finance Director to join the M&A Lead Advisory team of a well-regarded UK professional services firm, based in London.

This firm operates as part of a large international network with a presence across a significant number of territories worldwide, which means the corporate finance and M&A work coming through the door genuinely has an international flavour, not just domestic deal flow. It's also a firm that's been actively investing in growing this practice, so there's real scope to help shape where it goes next rather than simply inheriting a fixed remit.

You'll lead corporate finance engagements spanning buy-side and sell-side M&A, management buyouts, and equity and debt fundraising, often working across borders through the firm's wider international connections. Clients, investors and prospective purchasers will look to you as their key point of contact throughout, so strong relationship management sits at the heart of the role.

Beyond deal execution, you'll help grow the practice by identifying new client opportunities, contributing to pitches and proposals, and raising the profile of the firm's corporate finance offering in the market. You'll also play a part in developing more junior members of the team and in shaping how the advisory function operates day to day.

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with several years' post-qualification experience in corporate finance
• A strong track record of managing multiple client projects and competing priorities simultaneously
• Solid financial and commercial analysis skills, including experience overseeing financial modelling and a good grasp of valuation methodology
• Confidence using Excel to present complex financial analysis clearly
• An existing network of professional advisors and investors, and a genuine enthusiasm for M&A work
