US Tax Assistant Manager - #2151754

We are looking for a US Tax Assistant Manager to join an international tax team, delivering high-quality US Global Mobility tax services to clients with complex cross-border requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing US tax compliance and advisory support across international assignments
• Prepare and review complex US federal and state individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation
• Advise internationally mobile employees on the US tax implications of assignments, including compensation, equity, Social Security and treaty positions
• Conduct entry and exit consultations, helping clients understand their US tax obligations when moving into or out of the US
• Work closely with UK tax specialists to provide joined-up advice on US/UK cross-border matters

Requirements

• Experience in US individual tax, ideally within a Global Mobility, expatriate tax or international tax environment
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing US individual tax returns
• Good understanding of international assignment issues, including compensation, equity, Social Security and tax treaties
• Able to manage multiple client assignments and deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with UK and international tax specialists
