URGENT - Contract Product Owner | Repairs & Field Services

Contract: 6 months
Rate: £500 to £650 per day
IR35: Outside IR35

My client is undertaking a major Repairs and Field Services transformation programme focused on improving operational efficiency, workforce productivity, resident experience and service performance across Property Services.

They are looking for an experienced Contract Product Owner to lead the Repairs & Field Services product domain across a complex technology and operational environment.

The role will own the product strategy, roadmap and transformation backlog, driving discovery, prioritisation, decision making and delivery planning. You will work closely with operational leaders, technology teams, delivery partners and suppliers to turn service challenges into clearly defined product outcomes and measurable improvements.

The role covers areas including:

• Responsive Repairs and Planned Works
• Compliance Services
• Workforce Scheduling and Mobile Working
• Contractor Management
• Resident Communications
• Field Service Technology
• Operational Performance and Reporting

Key responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the Repairs & Field Services product strategy and 12 to 18 month roadmap
• Build and manage a prioritised transformation backlog across multiple delivery teams and suppliers
• Lead product discovery, opportunity assessment and prioritisation
• Translate operational challenges into product outcomes, epics, features and user stories
• Establish effective product governance and prioritisation processes
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and governance forums
• Identify opportunities to improve services, technology and workforce productivity
• Align operational, technology and supplier teams around agreed outcomes
• Define KPIs, adoption measures and benefits realisation
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery constraints
• Develop investment and prioritisation recommendations
• Support wider service and technology transformation across Repairs and Property Services

The successful candidate will have proven experience leading product management and transformation within complex operational environments, ideally across housing, property services, repairs or field service operations.
