Location - Knightsbridge (close to tube)

Basic salary £27,000.00 - £28,000.00 per year + package / bonus (£around £32k/£33k in value)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a polished, highly organised Junior Receptionist to be the welcoming face of an established international bank in London. You will create an excellent first impression for clients and visitors while helping the wider team keep the office running smoothly.

The bank serves a diverse international client base and offers services including multicurrency accounts, foreign exchange, trade finance and real estate finance. You will work in a professional environment where personal service, accuracy and discretion matter. This is an opportunity to build your experience in banking while developing both your front-of-house and administrative skills.

What you will do

• Welcome clients and visitors: Greet guests warmly and professionally, manage their arrival, and provide refreshments and hospitality.
• Manage communications: Answer and screen calls on a busy switchboard, take accurate messages and direct enquiries to the right person promptly.
• Keep the office organised: Coordinate incoming and outgoing post, couriers and deliveries; maintain stationery supplies; and assist with filing, scanning and photocopying.
• Support banking administration: Scan account mandates, match and organise daily paperwork, and track internal documents with care and accuracy.
• Protect confidential information: Handle client details and sensitive financial documents discreetly, following the bank’s procedures for data protection and document control.
• Assist the wider team: Provide occasional cover for executive assistants, including arranging travel, taxis and restaurant bookings for management. (this could help with your career path into the EA world)

What we are looking for

• Experience in reception, front-of-house hospitality or premium customer service. Switchboard experience would be an advantage.
• A professional manner and the confidence to welcome clients and senior visitors.
• Clear, courteous written and verbal communication skills. Arabic language could be useful however not mandatory.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several tasks and follow through on requests.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
• A proactive, helpful approach and a willingness to support colleagues across the office.
